Make Agency® has partnered with Mollie’s for nearly five years, from the launch of its first site in Oxford by Soho House through to the successful openings in Bristol and Manchester. Our role has been to design, build, and evolve the brand’s digital ecosystem. Mollie’s needed a long-term digital partner to support growth across its estate. We were tasked with delivering high-performing digital products and performance marketing that drive direct bookings, diner reservations, and sustained customer acquisition.

The challenge

Mollie’s needed to sell rooms and diner bookings directly at a lower cost than OTAs, while maintaining a consistent experience across locations. Digital had to work hard across every device, especially mobile, where the majority of bookings begin.

As the estate expanded, every touchpoint needed to scale without losing clarity, speed, or usability.

What we did

We designed and built a responsive website that performs seamlessly across desktop and mobile, making it easy for users to discover, book, and convert wherever they are. The site sits at the centre of Mollie’s digital ecosystem.

Beyond the website, we designed the app, in-room entertainment screens, and digital boards across each location. We also evolved a flexible digital brand toolkit that allows creative to scale across CRM, social graphics, and performance assets while staying consistent.

Using Make Sense, we carried out a full data audit to understand Mollie’s customers in depth and build clear ICP audiences. This insight informs paid media, social strategy, and creative decisions, helping us consistently hit acquisition KPIs and drive strong ROAS.

We also manage organic social end to end, including regular site visits, UGC shoots, creator partnerships, and always-on content production. AI-informed insight is layered with real customer data to guide what content performs and why.

The results

As the partnership enters its sixth year, following the successful Manchester opening at the former Granada Studios site, focus continues on scaling UGC, social, and paid media to support the next phase of growth.
