For over four years, Make Agency® has been Cognita’s long-term partner for new customer acquisition, paid media, content, website design and build, and AI-informed strategy. We support schools across the UK and Europe, working at both group and individual school level.
The challenge
Cognita operates in a complex and competitive education market. Our role is to drive enrolment demand, raise school awareness, and support sustained growth as new schools join the group, using data-led strategy and performance marketing to deliver results year after year.
The independent schools market is under constant pressure. Policy shifts, demographic change, and uncertainty under the UK Labour government have increased competition and scrutiny. Cognita needed an agency that could adapt quickly, respond to market fluctuation, and perform at peak during critical enrolment windows.
Each school also has its own context. Different locations, facilities, curricula, and audiences. Campaigns needed to feel local and relevant, while still aligning to Cognita’s wider brand. Lead generation was business-critical. Performance could not slip.
What we did
